Il Cinema può portarci verso pianeti inesplorati abitati da omini blu con la coda, può farci fare il tifo per due cannibali innamorati che cercano il loro posto nel mondo, può farci credere di essere in montagna a respirare a pieni polmoni, può riportarci indietro nel tempo permettendoci di conoscere Marilyn, può insegnarci il valore dei sentimenti attraverso un bambino di legno e può essere racchiuso nelle mani di un bambino. Può anche condurci nell’Irlanda degli anni 90 in pieno subbuglio tra fila di amic* i cui sogni non potranno mai morire sotto i colpi della divisione, potrà condurci in un bel palazzo della Upper West Side per risolvere omicidi insieme a chi, fino a poco prima, si considerava finito, un fallito o troppo solo per ricominciare. Invece no, siamo ancora qua. Dopo tanto affanno, siamo tutti ancora qua, in sala o alla tv, pure di sfuggita davanti a un micro schermo: siamo sempre qua, avidi di storie, di vita e di amore.
