Per giocare a tennis si dev’essere in due – l’uno contro l’altro – o in quattro – in doppia squadra; eppure, il cinema ci ha insegnato che è possibile farlo anche in tre.
Ci hanno cresciuti con il timore reverenziale che il vestiario cattolico fosse sinonimo di temibile soggezione, ma il cinema ha svelato che anche costoro hanno pregi e difetti, più politici che fedeli, sono stati ugualmente incastonati nello schermo con il rispetto dovuto alla loro centenaria dottrina.
Abbiamo visto streghe di diverse etnie e privilegi cantare in difesa degli animali, ritrovando in sé stesse in un affetto reciproco, che ha parlato a moltə tra gli emarginati e i sognatori.
Sono stati creati nuovi colossi come un Quarto Potere che azzarda rovesciare la Libertà che illumina il mondo di luce artificiale e meschina e si è riportato al mondo il Vampiro per terrorizzare e affascinare e un più femminile Ritratto di Dorian Gray per scioccare e denunciare.
Con il supplemento televisivo del nostro quotidiano, come ogni anno, ci ritroviamo qui per cogliere ciò che ci è stato mostrato, decisi a farne personalità e meraviglia.
Il Cinema è la risposta per chi avidamente cerca qualcosa di sé che non sapeva gli mancasse, finché non se lo è trovato davanti. Ancora di più, è un conglomerato di storie e personaggi che decidiamo di prelevare e fare nostri per sempre.
Aggiungiamo, dunque, al nostro arsenale, anche i titoli di quest’anno con la sempre rinnovata speranza che il 2025 non disdegni di fare altrettanto.
